LYON and STEKHOVEN

Architect

The partnership between J LYON and JZS SCHUURMANS-STEKHOVEN in Cape Town from 1927 until Lyon's death in 1938. The partners were placed second in the competition for the South African Mutual Life Assurance Society in Bloemfontein, the design of which was illustrated in the South African Architectural Record (Dec 1927:91-5).

Submitted an entry for the Competition for the new Prime Minister's Residence - Placed Second.
