ARIBA 1929
In 1923 Lubynski joined the Cape School of Architecture as a part-time student. In 1925 the school was taken over by University of Cape Town; Lubynski passed his RIBA final examination at the University of Cape Town in 1928 having spent from 1925 until 1928 working in the office of his father LA LUBYNSKI, a total of three-and-a-half years and six months with WALGATE & ELSWORTH. By 1929 his address was c/o KENDALL & MANSERGH, Cape Town. In 1939 he was listed in the Johannesburg directory but appears to have returned to Cape Town where he designed a house for the architect HJ BROWNLEE as well as, among other works, Monawee flats in Main Road, between Wynberg and Kenilworth (1941). In 1959 he was in partnership with I LEEB, WA RITCHIE-FALLON and NM NOALL (cf LUBYNSKI, LEEB, RITCHIE-FALLON & NOALL) and by 1969 he was in partnership with JR TAYLOR (cf LUBYNSKI & TAYLOR).
