Prince Alfred's Hamlet, Western Cape

Founded by Johannes Cornelis Goosen, who was born in the Klein Drakenstein and came to the Warm Bokkeveld as a young farmer. After a visit to the area by the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Alfred of Edinburgh, Goosen named the town after the prince.
