Charles Cunnold DEUCHAR, with John Stockwin CLELAND, won the competition for the Pretoria War Memorial which was planned for Church Square, Pretoria.
The War Memorial was not built here but at the Union Buildings garden a few years later to designs by Gordon LEITH.
