Competition for the Pretoria Technical College

Won by Gordon LEITH. On winning the competition for the Pretoria Technical College in 1926, Leith placed Norman EATON in charge of the office in Pretoria. In 1926 LEITH, on winning the competition, offered LAWRIE, then stationed in Malasia,a three-year contract to return to Pretoria to supervise the building of the Pretoria Technical College. LAWRIE returned to South Africa in 1927 and took charge of the project.

Charles SMALL gained second premium in the competition for the Pretoria Technical College in 1926

Charles Cunnold DEUCHAR collaborated with Alec PEASE, a colleague in the DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, on a submission for the competition (1926) for the Pretoria Technical College.

CORDEAUX, FARROW & STOCKS were placed third in the competition for the Pretoria Technical College in 1926.
