Nederduitsch Hervormde Kerk - Church

The Nederduitsch Hervormde Kerk (Reformed Church of Netherlands) was started in South Africa in 1652. The first predikant (preacher) Johan van Arckel arrived at the Cape in 1665. It was the state church of the Zuid-Afrikaansche Republiek. The theology is strongly Calvinist.
