Click to view map Coordinates: | Award of Merit Citation These parallel industrial buildings of complementary character, conceived as a campus and characterized architecturally by an emphasis on equity of access are designed for passive ventilation and natural lighting, no mean feat for buildings of this scale. Despite the size they are humane and inspiring places of work. One building is engaging and confidently acknowledges its entrance status to the campus; the other is recessed and defers. The one at entrance provides visual connections with the warehousing section so as to enjoy the variety of viewing experiences offered from the elevated position. This project lifts the bar for industrial buildings with the assured and refined qualities of each building; the promotion of environmental initiatives; the rigour of constructional logic and the lucidity of the plans, making it a project of merit.
