The Adderley Hotel first opened in 1903 the street facade has been altered from the original and the entrance now a glass front between the other buildings on the block.

The place ceased to operate as an hotel in 2018 when it was re-developed as a mix of residential apartments, offices and retail on street level. It is now [2020] called The Adderley and incorporates the five facades as on the photo, plus the modern apartment block behind them.
