Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Law working in Cape Town by 1899 and was invited to join the South African Society of Architects (SASA) in 1902, thus being a founder member. He presumably became a member of the Cape Institute of Architects when it was founded in 1902 taking the place of SASA. He was last listed it seems in Cape Town directories in 1912. The architect GE FITZGERALD was articled to Law from 1898 to 1900 (cf Fitzgerald).
