Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Law working in Cape Town by 1899 and was invited to join the South African Society of Architects (SASA) in 1902, thus being a founder member. He presumably became a member of the Cape Institute of Architects when it was founded in 1902 taking the place of SASA. He was last listed it seems in Cape Town directories in 1912.
