GORDON and HENDERSON

Established: 1906?

Architect

The partnership or association around 1906 between (DM?) GORDON and (GG?) HENDERSON in Cape Town. Their association was recorded in their gaining second premium for the new law courts building in Bloemfontein in 1906, the two names being mentioned in the South African Association of Architects, Engineers and Surveyors Journal (Dec 1906:49) and subsequent issues, no initials given. It is assumed that the Gordon was DM Gordon since this name was given in a description of the assessment of the designs for the new law courts in Bloemfontein (1906) when he came second. Both were said to be of Cape Town and GG Henderson was at the time the only Henderson practising in Cape Town, so far as is currently known.
