BSc Eng 1943 (Cape Town)
Better known as a cricketer, Cheetham was a qualified civil engineer and director of companies. He was educated at South African College School, and in 1943 obtained a BSc in engineering at the University of Cape Town, followed by a AMP at Harvard University, USA. He registered as a member of the South African Institute of Civil Engineers. During Worl War 2 he served with the SA Military Engineering Corps in Egypt and Italy. He served on the directorate of various companies, notably MURRAY AND ROBERTS CONSTRUCTION. Books citing CHEETHAM HSRC. 1987. Dictionary of South African Biography Volume V.
