DONALDSON, WalterBorn: fl. 1897
Nothing is yet known about Donaldson's training; he worked in the Orange Free State as an architect in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He designed the Ficksburg Town Hall (1897) and also, apparently, the Dutch Reformed Church, Ficksburg; although Kesting does not record an architect for the building, he notes additions made 1905-1907. (The Friend 20.2.1985:8; Kesting 1978; NMC list; Schoeman 1982).
