DIRKSEN, PieterBorn: 1910 08
Born in The Netherlands, Dirksen qualified at the Hague Technical School in 1929 after which he worked for nine months with PM DE Moet in s-Gravenhage. He left to work for the municipality of s-Gravenhage until 1924 when he came to South Africa. In 1937 he sat the special qualifying examination at the University of the Witwatersrand and became a member of the Institute of South African Architects in 1938. He resigned from the ISAA in 1977.
