STEWART, William RobertBorn: 1915
It is not certain where Stewart was born nor where he trained. So far he is first recorded working in Krugersdorp around 1915 and was on active service for a short time during the First World War. He had returned to Krugersdorp by 1917 when he was appointed representative of the ATA Practice Committee, Krugersdorp. WR Stewart was the father of AG STEWART with whom he entered into partnership in 1936 with offices in Krugersdorp and Johannesburg (cf STEWART, WR & AG).
