MAYNARD, Charles Edward Foulkes Born: 1902 09 07 Died: ? Architect SACA: Reg No: 279 Year registered: 1927 TPIA (1927); ISAA (1927). Born in Pretoria, Maynard was probably working for the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT in Pretoria when he registered with the Institute of South African Architects in 1927. By 1928 he was working in the PWD as an architectural assistant grade 2. In 1959 he still recorded as a salaried member of the Transvaal Institute, in the employ of the Transvaal Provincial Administration. By 1969 he had moved to the Cape Town offices of the PWD. He retired in 1974.
